Study sample

We conducted the survey on a random sample of TikTok users. The youngest respondent was 15 yo, and the oldest was 60 yo. We also compared how men and women use the app.

Popularity of #EduTok

Sharing knowledge, transferring know-how and providing answers to burning questions are formats loved by the TikTok community. This is perfectly visible in the number of views of the #EduTok hashtag.

A compendium of knowledge

The survey was expanded by individual interviews with respondents, making the report a complementary source of knowledge about the platform's users in a variety of aspects.

The short, snappy form is getting to all of us, and the content isn't elective when it comes to demographics. TikTok has captured the hearts of the masses, while the Generation T that we describe is the outcome. You should know it better!
